Dystopia City Blocks - the ultimate in large scale urban prop packs.
Each kit contains ten (10) unique 400 m x 400 m city blocks designed in a futuristic style,
including all the necessary texture images to complete the look.
These low polygon models are intended to help fill the gaps in your science fiction universe, by providing you with a ready made city. No more time lost on creating all the other parts of your megalopolis, just concentrate on building your key structures and let Dystopia fill in the cityscape blanks for you. Whether you plan to populate it or destroy it, discover it or get lost in it, Dystopia is your essential urban environment.
The first 20 city blocks (not included in this package) are free!
Collect all 100 city blocks... umm... because it sounds cool!
Ten (10) LWO mesh files and twenty-four (24) seamless texture tiles are included in this product archive file. All the mesh geometries are optimized for use in LightWave 3D to ensure faster render times. Seamless textures are used in various configurations to create a wide array of surfaces.
3DS/OBJ versions and a Poser version will be made available separately.

Dude, you rock so hard! I mean, hey, I've gotten GREAT use out of the blocks already out there, and these can only sweeten the pot. I really like the look of the one in the back row, next to the right rear corner... those towers just have a "Metropolis" feel to 'em...

I just want to let everybody know that I'll be working with Moe and Billy to make the Poserised version. I'm sure those of you that know my stuff can guess that means you're going to see some relatively advanced Poser set-up for the product. I don't want to give away too much just yet, but of course I'll be focusing on ease and speed of use. I want you to be able to arrange the city just how you want it with a minimum of fuss.

Thanks for all the support, folks. :o)
If you'd like, I can post some smaller (400 x 400) close up shots of each city block so you can get an idea of what I mean by "low polygon. These meshes have a bit more detail than the original 20 city blocks already in FreeStuff. They are designed to expand your existing city blocks, adding taller buildings and a few samples of more sophisticated architecture.
The LWO package will be supplemented by a 3DS/OBJ conversion (sold separately) that billy-home is working on. Billy is responsible for the conversions of my "Antares" bridge and my "RudeBoy mech, which are both available from FreeStuff.
And, yeap... you guys heard right! Ajax will be creating the Poser version (sold separately) of these city blocks. Need I say more about that bit? :o)
Hopefully we will be able to deliver a high-end product at a price that will make you drop your jaw and say..."you've got to be kidding! really???
Cheers! - M

Fantastic! Looking forward to them. Good thing I already have Lightwave.
I came, I rendered, I'm still broke.

Well, Mo you might already know my feelings. If not, check my page to see I added you as a master modeler. And, besides all the freebies I have of yours AND the sci-fi "hallway" stuff (of great detail) I bought, I have repeatedly told you to SELL your stuff.
Having said that, just let it be known you fall into the hmann category. He does hair and you do futuristic stuff. I'll say the same of you as I said of him, "You don't ask...if he's selling it, you just buy it !"
Looking forward to the Poser version...count it as a sale my faraway "friend".
