If I don't disable OpenGl in vue d'esprit (4.12), the program crashes very regularly within a few minutes.
My graphic board is a GeforceIII with the latest drivers from Nvidia (4.0.9).
Do some people use this card with older drivers and can use the opengl in vue ?
If it's unfortunatly not the case, what video cards (within an acceptable price range) is recommended ?
thank you

I use an nVidia card just like yours and do use it with OpenGL enabled. Previously, I used earlier nVidia GeForce cards. I've never, ever had a problem. I suspect the problem might be with your drivers. Perhaps you should experiment more with downloaded drivers from a number of sources, and make sure you are using the one specifically meant for your operating system - before giving up on the card.

I "downgraded" to the 4072 version of Nvidia drivers and vue seems more stable now

Vue has a problem with the special architecture of the g-force 3 cards when the open-gl option is enabled.Funny is the fact, that this problem do not appear in that manner with g-force 2 and 4 cards :-? cheers rollmops .
