Just a small problem that probably won't affect many people, but here it is. In the new version of anim8or (v .081), it seems that if I morph in one direction, for instance upwards, the morph starts drifting in another, in this case, backwards. I was morphing a venetian blind to make a 'raise blind' morph. The pic shows screenshots of version 051 and 081 with a render inset of the result in poser. V051 is fine, but 081 sends the blind backwards. This is me moving vertices by using the arrow keys, NOT by hand. I'd noticed recently that some of my morphs were a bit off and couldn't figure it out, then I finally realised what was going on. Today I tested the venetian blind in 2 versions of anim8or and saw the problem. I also tested another 4 or 5 pieces and got the same result. It seems to happen with all views and in all directions. I usually move vertices in the Front window, but if I use Side view to move the blinds up, they'll go slightly off to left or right. Weird.... And they're all fine in v 051. Anyway, this will only be an issue if you use anim8or for morphs, and if you need precision morphing. Most people won't even notice it, I'm sure, but I thought I'd pass it on. (Why should I be the only one who's annoyed? LOL) I've also e-mailed steven (creator of anim8or) and explained the whole kit 'n' kaboodle. mac
"Why should I be the only one who's annoyed?" Great line!!!!! I'm going to steal it!

Damn! And I just updated Anim8or... grrr. You are not alone in annoyance. Still love the program, though.
Tyger, I've had a to and fro of e-mails with steve about this and the Prime Suspect at this point is Poser's tiny scale. Poser's universe is miniscule and so even a small variation in anim8or might produce a bigger effect on a poser object. I'm sure this only happens with imported .obj files from poser, so this might explain. Funny thing is, it doesn't happen in earlier versions. Anyway, steve is looking into it. And, yeah, the propg is still great. mac
