Strange huh? Looks like something from Echer. Dosen't make much spatial sense.

Looks like the toy my cats have where the ball rolls around in circles inside one of those rings you made - came out pretty interesting though

A decorative fixture mounted over a porthole, perhaps? Neat!

or a real short tiki torch. Looks a lot more realistic (I'm playing with exhaust..explains the blue tint on my skin..;) than what I'm getting, but I'm using cones for the overall effect..maybe a ball and cone might work..;)
I wish I'd said that.. The Staircase Wit

Agent Smith, This looks so neat! I'm impressed with this new rocket engine, but I'm almost as likely to understand how it works as I am to be able to understand string theory. It all goes to show that there are more things in the universe than are dreamed of in my philosophy. - meanwhile I'm stuck trying to figure out how to get skewing to work right in more than 1 dimension, looking at the code for an old set of fractal fractal programs(the hardest part was getting the "FAT" files onto the "NTFS" computer ) and O.T.: Dr. Kaku or his webmaster or (?) sent me the update for his site at www.mkaku.org and I was looking at the formulas Dr. K. uses to explain his 'string' theory. I'm not able to completely understand the calculus he uses as simple as it seems, but I have derived a new way of saying 'the black hole of emotional need'. I can now use the phrase 'the p-brane of emotive necessity'. (Of course I wouldn't use a term like that but it's nice to know I can.) It's an interesting site if you're into that sort of thing. I'll have to try something along the line of your lattice. Thanks for sharing! - TJ

I ran across Dr. Michio Kaku when I started doing research on Overunity for a project of mine. On the surface he is REALLY out there, but like listening to Scottish accents for an amount of time, after a while...he starts to make sense. (in a strange kind of way) I've been too paranoid and busy to switch over to NTFS yet... Skewing; makes my brain crawl for my ear canal in a desperate attempt to escape. In a word; "hard". I'll post up the greyscales for you people to play with, make'em do something! Make'em your own. Rochr, play all ya want! In fact I had put a strong flare in there, but thought it looked silly, well, in fact it did, I gotta dig out and install my old KPT, get my flares up to speed, lol. The base Photoshop one's kinda suck. AS

Gene Budarick has a tutorial on skewing. a few minor errors in it and
you need a pocket calculator that does tan or (tan)tables,
but it's pretty good as far as it goes.

Does anyone model with lattices? I'm pretty clueless about lattices AND modeling. I'd like to create some characters via Bryce. Doug

I've only done non-organic modeling. AS
