Hey folks -- Those of you who have been around for a while know me as AzChip, but about a year and a half ago, I moved away from Arizona and stopped letting people call me Chip, so I've finally gotten around to creating a new profile for me here. I'm now sfdex, which should give you the idea that I'm living in San Francisco and am called Dex. I've signed messages as Dex for a long time, so that's nothing new. Hope this doesn't throw anyone into cheddar-eating binges.... - Dex

Each time a move to a new city you also acquire a new name? Are you in witness relocation or just plain on the run from the law?

Hmmmmmm, SanDex, Dexisco, SanDexFran, FranDex... I could say AzChip. I just can't say sfdex without spitting saliva on my monitor. ;) Good to see you around.

You can say it with a mouthful of cheddar cheese, no problem. Coincidence?

How about D-E-X-T-E-R? Or maybe DMAN...D-Ster, sigh...ok plain ol Dex works as well....

Thanks, all.... Yes, I only have two other names that I could use, so I guess I'll only be able to move to two other cities for the rest of my life. And as for avoiding the spitting problem (avec or sans cheddar), I say the name "S - F - Dex," which could mean San Francisco Dex or Science Fiction Dex, either one of which could apply.... But S F Dex kind of rhymes. Has a flow to it. Of course I could be like Mark or Terri and provide a lot of personal information with my logon; and the witness protection program, er, my moving company advised me against that. - Dex

Special Note: There's a differece between information and disinformation.

True, Terri, true.... And Bluetone, I've acutally registered the name DexFX as a company here in California and am developing a logo and such, but I'm so damn busy with my regular job that I don't have time to build anything on the side....
