Cool looking woodchuck. Is that a stucco texture?

GG: cracked sandy rock for the diffuse, marble sand for the ambient, and islands for the bump. And I may have gone in and changed the color. Not sure, tried so many things before this, I get confused. I'm not sure if I'm going to stick with it or not. Does it look too inorganic? I was trying to find something flesh colored and something with a warty texture. These metaballs are something to work with. They are awesome if you have patience. Something I lack. Opinions are welcome. Ang

I don't want to be critical, because I have never managed to pull off anything remotely this good with metaballs, but the texture makes it look like a statue or rock. I think you should at least turn down the bump some and decrease the frequency on the bump channel.

It looks good to me; perhaps it is a statue - like in a children's park or something.

Flesh textures; http://www.fantasticarts.com/textures/OrganicHuman.htm Sorry, but at first I thought it was a short toothed walrus! Looks really cute tho!

LOL, I also thought it had a walrus look about it. But its just an alien creature. There's no way I could model something real, yet. And GG, don't worry about giving me advice. This is still a wip and any and all advice is appreciated. Quest, I can't wait to get home and check out the link. And making it a statue could work too. Hadn't thought of that. :) Thanks
