It rained last night, and I just had to spend a few minutes on my back deck before going to work today. This is a shot of the top of the table. I guess the rain has nothing to do with this shot. 1/45, ISO at 200.

The reflection of the bare trees above from the water lying on the deck. Very little color, so I made it black n white, also at 1/45 with the ISO at 200.

I have 2 small dumbbells Im supposed to lift each morning, and I noticed how leaving them outside all winter had caused them to age some. The drop of water at the lower center shows how small they really are, just 15 or 20 lbs each. Macro, 1/30 with ISO at 200. All shot with tripod. Maybe this weekend I can shoot some beyond my back yard. Still gotta shoot Jordy's self-portrait thing too.

Second shot is my favorite. Plays tricks on my eyes!

Interesting shots, Marshall. Yeah, if you hadn't given a backgrounder on #2 I would be staring at it for far longer than I should. Really kewl finds! (I bet Cam will love that rust, too.) :-) (*

Love #3 maybe you could shoot it again, but with you hand gripping it.

Eggiwegs! I would like... to smash them!

Ok, the first one is still making me dizzy, its like looking through, well, metal grating, I guess... cause... it is

#2 is way cool as well as the other 2! hmmm, if you're suppose to be lifting those weights every morning what are they doing outside getting rusty?

Wow, that second one really does freak your eyes out, doesn't it?!? Love the first one! (Marshall, can I Theftivate that one into my textures library, bud? If you say yes I won't post any dumba....erm dumbell jokes....) (",) p.s. you say "All shot with tripod" - pretty impressive, can't wait to see the results you'd get using a camera......
