I apreciate any help... vince p.s. the only poseble part are the neck and the head, the neck is one loft and the head is a box.... it will look better after texturing... I hope.... thanks vince

This the same problem i have ... Bt i was under the impression Poser 4 could do it in a different way. rather Heirarchy and joint editor were needed. where as the setup room was just easier. because the tools were all in one spot.

There is a jt. primative that is used from curved objects like tails and necks that I've read about. Check your manual for more information about this. I think you'd need something like that for your head and neck. You can also borrow an existing bone structure from one of the animals in your poser library. This would be helpful, just pick something that moves in a similar way to the way your want your head and neck to move.

A quick dirty way in Poser 4 is to go into the Hierarchy editor and parent it body, neck, head. Then click "Create New Figure". The new figure will then be added in the "New Figures" library. Then I would load the figure, select each body part and under object properties and disable "bend" for the body and head. After that you would edit the "Joint Parameters" on the neck to make it bend the way you want. Good luck. That's a nice little Bot.

Sadly I can't host it at the moment. But I would like to play around with it. Read my IM for my E-Mail address. I'll be more than happy to send it back as a figgure, if I'm succesfull doing that. It reminds me of one of the "Machines" from the old "War of the Worlds" movie. One of my favorites.
