One of the couple different models I've been putting together for no good reason (other than it's a fun way to waste time.) What do you think of it so far? Also would anyone here be interested in downloading it? It's funny, but I've been playing around making stuff so much that I haven't done much rendering of it. I'm not the only one, am I?

I saw you showing this in wings3d right, Those tires are awesome. I'm still trying to learn that app but haven't got the hang of it yet. Great job! The buggy is great too, but those tires are really phenominal! Ang

Ahh... The tires... go to make a cylinder and hit the box so you can set the number of sides. (I set it at 30) Then select both ends of the cyl and extrude a few times. Scale it so it's wider and flatter. Rotate on Z axis 90 (using tab.) Then inset the ends a few times. Then bridge. Then select every third row of faces on the curved part, and extrude region normal... Well I could keep going on. But you get the idea. Would you like the wheels and tires available for DL?

Ok, so i'm gonna have to try that. You make it sound so simple. Not sure how to set the number of sides. As far as dloading, I'm not sure when I could use them but if I ever needed tires, yes, I would love to have them. I'm sort of a newbie so I have aquired a lot of free stuff but haven't yet been able to make anything out of it. Thanks in advance, Ang

You may have to go to Edit>Advanced Preferences... And then check the little box where it says Advanced Menu. Then you should get the "full" capability of Wings (this will make the little boxes show up if they aren't there already.) Anyhow, if you'd like the wheel I'm offering it as one of my freestuff items. It's saved in .wings, so you Brycers out there will have to be willing to expose yourself to using Wings3D in order to convert it into a Bryce importable format. ;) Besides, it's a tool worth having in your inventory.

Cool model. How many polygons is it? I think I can convert it to a car for Need for Speed if it doesn't have too much polygons. Would be way cool wouldn't it?

Thanks Paul, I just downloaded the tire, worked fine. Rayraz- it has two parts, the tire is 3840 polys and the rim has 2076 polys. Ang

A bit too high poly. I'll have to try to model my own car then.
