If you go on the editor bar(where there's create, edit, sky & fog) with the mouse, then hold the spacebar and click, you can move the current bar in another position, showing the under one.... nut much useful (if you don't have a 2000x2000 monitor) but funny. cheers

I stumbled on this quite a while back accidently, using the space bar to pan a large rendered image. clicked outside the work area instead of inside. just figured it was a handy way to rearrange the workplace, Metacreations-fashion, like Poser and Carrara. But I liked everything just the way it was so I left it and promptly forgot about it.

Me too. In fact, had a bad time in tryin' to put everything into place again, LOL. But now I'm with a 15", so I really don't have any space for pushing around anything... :) S.

If you have 2 monitors you can move all the pallettes to the other monitor making them all visible at once while being able to work on a bigger work window on your first monitor.

Yes, a nice but seldom used feature. I've done this and like Doublecrash, couldn't put back together again the broken egg. Not even with all the king's men. Sort of like one of those Russian dolls where you open one to find another, smaller one, inside only thing is that when you try to put it together, the big one wont fit inside the smaller one.

That is on my pet peeve list of things for the next Bryce. Simple; just like all other drop down bars, you should be able to activate the "Auto-Hide", or not. Can't believe they didn't stick that option in there, lol. Totally screws with my MS Office toolbar, which I use constantly. AS

Hi all..stumbled onto this post a little late in the game but in response to those who have been having trouble putting the pallets "back together again" you all can try two things #1 hold down ALT and SPACE and click the palletes or #2 you can go to EDIT>>Reset Pallets in the menu bar. This should default them back to original positions. The shift move pallets is a documented feature covered in the manual and help files with the two above options listed as fixes if you don't like where they end up.
Quest posted Wed, 19 March 2003 at 7:08 PM
Thanks Dryfly but, that's too easy! LOL...guess I should have taken the time to pursue the pallet rearrangement issue.
cambert posted Thu, 20 March 2003 at 4:55 AM
More amazing than finding the feature is the fact of finding a feature that's documented in the manual! Yay! ;-)
