this brings back a memory I hadnt thought much of since I was a kid... my sister ran away from home when she was very little. It was days later that we found her in the middle of the woods..cold, wet, hungry, alone and crying. it was a very scarey time as I remember it..I was younger than her. (~5 yrs old..she was 6) BT

BT, That is scary! My kids ran away from home when they didn't get their way but they were afraid to leave the yard!

The dolphin will come swimming by, cackle, and make her laugh. Then she'll hop on his back and he'll carry her back to her special island. A very nice render, Sharen.

When my kids were little they used to threaten to run away from home. I used to offer to help them pack. Funny how that cleared the whole thing up right away...LOL. Laurie

Pokeydots, that's what tree-houses are for. I used to pull that gig on my own parents....many, many moons ago ;p They usually found out where I had gone when they caught my sneeking in the bathroom window to take a leak...

Good picture; the emotion comes through clearly even without the caption. The invitation reminds me of a TV program back in the early '50s called Winky Dink. It was a rather crude line-drawn animation; Winky would get himself into all sorts of predicaments, and the viewers would -draw- him out of the trouble. How? Your parents had to buy a kit consisting of a plastic sheet that covered the screen (static cling) and some colored markers. Much later (in the '80s) somebody observed that most of the computer graphics folks at that time had been Winky Dink viewers when young..... which made sense.

What I need from you all is a render of her being found or going home...sort of like a continuation of what is happening to her...I started the first pic....now you all do the next....(of course only if you want)...keep it in the same thread so we can all see the conclusion....she doesn't have to have the same clothes or hair, just what would be the next picture. Kind of like a comic strip...so are you all game....? Sharen PS: I did this because there were so many great renders with her and I know alot of you have her....just for fun now.

I am game, but I have to go to bed soon, so I probably won't be able to join in...........BUT, for sure, I will check the post tomorrow, and see what happens. (: Genny

I don't know if this goes before or after your picture... but Koshini's boyfriend seems to be involved in this situation in some way...
BTW, what hair did you use?

Hey this is great, I used my new one from DAZ, that wild changing hair. Sharen

Oh, I am a little disappointed there aren't more renders....oh....well, the last one is cute none the less! (: Genny

I think maybe there was a "sequencing" problem with the basic idea. A comic strip requires that the story be outlined in advance, and each stage assigned to one person. Otherwise each person will be producing a different idea, resulting in a set of randomly related images but not a story.......

It doesn't matter what renders come up, just wanted to see something....it is alright maybe we should do a series though, give people something to shoot for...up to you all or we can leave it alone. Sharen :-)
