WELCOME TO OUR WORLD! YOU ARE DOING GOOD! THE ONLY WAY YOU WILL MAKE CHANGES IN YOUR WORK TO KNOW IF YOU ARE DOING GOOD IS TO START SHOOTING ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING. SOON YOU WILL DEVELOPE A STYLE AND THEN YOU WILL SEE GROWTH FROM ONE SUBJECT TO ANOTHER. WE WILL ALWAYS HELP HERE BUT YOU WILL ALWAYS BE YOUR BEST CRITIC.

she can be talking but im not listening I'm told this may be a separate, unrelated issue. In any case, happy to hear about your enthusiasm. Bio and Spidie both offered good advice.

As Bio suggests, the "not listening" may be another issue. It may be that in learning photography you have inadvertently activated the dormant "Huh" neurons in your brain. I know exactly what you mean. I am always looking at composition no matter what I'm looking at. And every woman I see I'm automatically visualizing what angles and shots would look good for them. It is a sickness, but I think one of the best ones you can have. Even if it can get a little expensive. :) hehe -=>Donald

uh you mean there are people in the world that see objects in the everyday world that don't have imaginary viewfinder squares around them? amazing.....welcome to chaos delboy.

Dude, forget the woman bit - the first time you turn your head sideways and say "wow....can you see that?" and she says "eh?" you know she's got no chance.... but lets face it, do you understand knitting or cross-stitch?!? lol (",)

I say merge the two. Listen to your wife as you are photographing her. =:-) Bsteph
