Well I searched the forums, couldn't find the thread. I did however find the cause of faces and body parts disappearing when rendered. It would seem that some MAT poses add a trans map to the face, but set the value to zero. This works fine in Poser, but when you import via plugin into 3dsmax, max adds the trans map to the opacity channel. The fix is to uncheck the box next to the opacity channel in max, or make sure the PZ3 is correct in Poser before importing. I spent two hours sifting through threads while the answer was right in front of my face! So if you have this issue, you know what to check FIRST. Mark

Hi Mark, I don't know why you have this error (I don't have 3DSMax) but at RDNA in the "Tutorials" section you can find a great tutorial write by Colm. Hope help you, Mav :)

I couldn't figure out why some characters imported flawlessly, but others where missing faces when it came time to render. There are MAT files that assign a transmap but set the value to zero. 3DSMax applies this transparency but not at a value of ZERO. Thanks for the link and reply Mark
