I DL a Layer Style from RDNA (it is a asl file marked "Style"). I checked the manual on how to add it to layer styles, but I can't figure it out, can anyone help? Signed The Dummy

Click on Styles tab. Click on the Styles Options menu pulldown (triangle in circle). Click Load Styles. Browse to your .asl file and Click Load.

You may also want to double-check the version number of the style you downloaded versus the version number with which you are working. Some PS7 styles won't work with PS6 completely.

Philywebrider,

If you click on WINDOW on your top menu bar and check on Styles, it will show a box with some preset Styles (it looks like you may not even have them shown on your work space right now).
When the box appear on your screen, there is a little circle with arrow on the top right side.... click on that and the drop down menu will appear. There you will see LOAD STYLES! I hope you can figure things out from then... :)

Yes you may not be seeing the "styles" palette (it's often grouped with the color and swatches tabs) if it is not shown, select "Show Styles" from the Window menu. It's also a good practice to store your styles in your Photoshop --> Preset --> Styles directory to keep things organized.
