Subject: Making 3D Text and Graphics???

Is this possible in photoshop or do I need a another program? If this is possible then could someone please give me a quick tutorial?

I really need to graduate from Elements, this is 2 mini-tutes you've posted that require features I don't have. As for the original question, you could try a free 3D application like wings3d.com or find a free version of Amapi on a magazine CD. You could also try out Carrara basics, most of the features of Carrara, with a $99 price tag.

i agree with 'driver and 'peoples. to do real 3d work, you need to have a "3d graphics program". but you can simulate any such effect with a good 2d programs like photoshop, but that can get tough, and much knowledge on how to use the thousands of tools in the program. frankly speaking, when you render an image in a 3d program, you get a 2d result. If you can create the same result in 2d, kudos for you.:)

for 3d letters, xara 3d. its stricktly for that purpose and works great.
