ive tried everything to get a created shirt, pants, and dress i made in max 5 to work and conform onto a target figure. I read almost all the tutorials out there using the cr2 editor, joint editor, grouping and spawning props to create a figure in poser, also i used the PHI Builder.Something iam doing wrong?I match the numbers to the target figure with my creation in the joint editor,I tried using the cr2 editor replaceing the location of the obj file with an already made cr2 file, and i used PHI Builder, yet when i conform to the target figure the groups become mangled in position and don't conform right!i need step by step help that with the exact and correct info if anyone who is a professional HELP!

You may find my tutorial of benefit, many have. It covers the full process of creating Poser figures in detail.

If you use an existing CR2 file you need to load it into the scene then open the joint editor and click on the zero button. The BODY and hip translations should already be at zero but its worth a double check. The next stage is often over looked and may be the cause of your problem. Existing CR2 files often contain preset joint angles and it is these that may be throwing the model out. Having zeroed the model these can now be removed by going to Edit/Memorize/Figure. Save the model back to the library.

If that was the problem this will be the solution.

Something that helped me to get some of my stuff to conform. Use ghost parts like in the picture. Just use a primitive for the next body part and turn it invisible. This trick was pointed out to me by the wiser heads around here and it works. Don't know why Poser acts weird with out them but it will. Also for creating conforming figures may I sugestion the program P-wizard. Its really easy and works well.
