Well what can I say? I wonder why I didn't think of this a long time ago. Thanks to darken666 for the idea :o)

It's in Free Stuff now.

That's neat. I especially like having a child's version. Even in the virtual world, a kid gets a boo-boo once in awhile. ;)

What an emminently sensible idea, Now you can patch up all the wounds made by nviatws

Great idea! Now we have a universal fix for all our Poser problems! LOL (I used to have a co-worker who's answer to any minor glitches in his programming was to "Put a Band-Aid on it, and we'll fix it later". Always bugged me, 'cause "later" never came for him).

Very handy to have! and I hope you enjoy, as well!

Nice idea! Unfortunately I cannot download anything from a tripod page. I just get redirected to the home page again and again. I do not use download managers just winxp and a broadband connection. Maybe one day I can figure out how to download. Anyways I like your stuff from what I can see :)

There have been quite a few people that have told me they have trouble downloading from the site. I would so like to find the thing that causes it, as most people CAN download the stuff. Anyway, if you're among the unfortunate ones that gets the Tripod loop, please drop me an e-mail or IM with your e-mail adress and I will send it to you :o)

The problem I had with downloading was caused by having cookies block on zone alarm. I don't know if this will be of any help to others but it worked for me!

Thank You! Thank You! Thank You!!!! The bandaid is great. I've always had great admiration for your modelling of such items. They allow one to make a scene more realistic by adding the little details to the picture.

Tripod mut be ab;e to store cookies on your PC, as TamiL says - I don't know, however, if WinXP's firewall blocks cookies. I HAVE had frustrated people make disparaging comments aboiut iut, and wish it was turned off by default...

TamiL posted Tue, 18 March 2003 at 2:22 PM

I am running WinXP and it doesn't seem to block cookies??? Maybe I turned those off??

who3d posted Tue, 18 March 2003 at 2:57 PM

I run Windows2000, having avoided WinXP like the proverbial plague - though Windows does have other security measure (in IE) which can block cookies. Silly name anyway, cookies.

TamiL posted Tue, 18 March 2003 at 3:49 PM

I have to agree there. Actually I've been using WinXP since it came out, WinXP PRO....works fine, I avoid service packs like the plague though because all I've heard is not good!!!

TrekkieGrrrl posted Tue, 18 March 2003 at 4:11 PM

Hmmm All I've heard is that service packs are not good if you have a erhm... less legit copy L I'm running XP Home with all the SP's that has been out so far, and I LOVE XP! Oh and I'm NOT NOT NOT accusing ANYBODY of piracy! Please don't jump to conclusions!

If you avoid service packs you're leaving the keys in the ignition and the door open. MS do sometimes have second thoughts, so it's worth waiting a few days or a week, but anything beyond that is very unsafe hex.
