Subject: A Challenge For ApexB

The top pic is the original lamborghini model that came with Ray Dream Studio, which I found dissapointing. The middle picture is a real lamborghini, and the bottom picture is my lamborghini model which you found dissapointing. It took me 2 weeks to model and texture, so I'll give you 2 weeks to come up with something better. It doesn't have to be a lamborghini, but it must be a high end sports car, e.g. porsche, ferrari, corvette.. make sure you use reference photos, and post one of the reference photos with your finished model.

I would LOVE to accept your challenge, but I do not have any modeling program other than Bryce4, and trying to model a car such as that would be mind-bendingly difficult. Though, I now see how much your model resembles the real thing, and find it much prettier than I saw it before. please dont take my ratings of your model personally. I DO like it alot, now that I analyzed it more thouroughly. If I could take my rating back I would. HOW did you get EVERY angle of that sucker correct!!!?

Apology accepted. Actually, the roof should be rounder, as should the side beneath the door, and the fender isn't quite right... I used about 20 photographs, a matchbox car and a model kit for reference. It was quite a pain to extrude... and it's not even finished. I want to give it an interior and an engine, and make the hood, doors and trunk open, and sell it as a poser model... now maybe you could explain to me how you manage a mind warping amount of boolean operations in bryce?

Hi Brainmuffin, What a great model you've made there. I especially like the way you did the concave shape on the wheels. is the Raydream model a different year model? I like yours alot better. Hawkfyr
