This happens mostly with default water. Select the water, double-click at the material window In the material editor, click the BUMPS tab Right-click the Bumps production window and select EDIT FUNCTION In the function editor window that opens you will see Wave 2.... Select it and delete it. OK, OK. That's all. BTW,when you have finished this, double-click at your terrain in the background and bring up resolution at 512 (or more). To make your terrain(s) look better too:-) Hope this helps, Guitta

Thanks, Guitta! Unfortunately, this particular image has moved on to oblivion since you can't save in the demo. I will use that technique in future renders. My purchased copy should be delivered today. :) Thanks also for the terrain recommendation. Jim

Man! I had never even seen that Edit Function dialog! And I thought Bryce had some complex material editing. :) Jim

Another problem solved! I've had this a few times, and always resorted to using the Clone Brush in PaintShop Pro to remove the artefact in post. Now I don't need to - thanks Guitta.
