Hello I am some what new to PS 7 and was wondering if there was a setting I could put on a brush to where when I start to paint and hold it down it would almost fade out. I tryed the dissolve function for the brush that thats not the effect that I am looking for. I am trying to create wisps of hair for a Poser figure and it would be much easier if I could have it almost fade out. Thx for your time....

Use the smudge tool with a high strength on a solid colour.

Hi Emberghost, Well it's easier in PS 6. On the option bar at right corner u'll get a brush tab. there they've given 3 parameters: SIZE, OPACITY & COLOUR, then each has two options : 1st is Fade & 2nd is steps. After setting these parameters as per ur requirement, u'll have a fadeing brush in hand. kedar

the brush has expanded view, change the shape "size" dynamics to fade
