Finally getting a lot of work done in Carrara; only the occasional crash when things get too complicated, but with constant backup and a few virgin offerings to the Gods, it's working! These images are from a new project I'm working on based on a hand-drawn pen & ink, 12-page comic I did many years ago. It's a Worm Western called "Showdown" with the classic Good Guys wear white and Bad Guys wear black theme.Thought I'd bring it into the digital age to improve my skills in 3D. The first is the cover, which is in progress, and the second is the opening page. Obviously, there are plenty of amateur mistakes, particularly in shader applications, that I hope to improve on as I go along. I do all the modeling with the exception of a few accessories like the guns. Also a couple of the shaders are from various collections. Unfortunately, I don't know who the creators were, so if you recognize your work, please let me know and you will receive credit for it and my undying thanks. All comments and suggestions are welcome. I'll post each page as I finish them.
Looking good! The mustache is great! My only suggestion is that you turn on interpolation in the texture map dialog for your ground texture, you can clearly see pixelation towards the bottom of the scene. Brian P. Retford Carrara Extensions www.losthorizonsoftware.com
