Which character? you might be able to ask the creator for a clean copy

If its not to bad and polygons are not damaged its an easy repairjob in..... a 3D modelprogram. Can You show the damage?

It could just as easily be a P4 problem. I can't remember which patch fixed it, but I recollect a bug where some figures rendered with holes.

it is the ORIGINAL latexa free char. from Plazio. no longer offered, and his website specifically says to stop e-mailing about the character. dont know why. it also says that it'll be available again soo, but has stated that for over ayear now, no I havent been able to use it. the polygons are randomly missing on the thighs, and the neck, im sure there's an easy fix somewhere, or a way to correct the OBJ. any help will be appreciated. Im sure someone here knows.

I had that figure and it came with holes in it . I just worked with it and removed them in post work . Only thing that might work is to try deleteing the RSR if it has one, i never tried that

Are you by any chance using propack? I've had more than one figure that looked fine in p4 have holes showing in propack... I'd also like to know what causes this, and how to fix it.

One other thing....try importing the raw obj from the geometries folder. I'm betting it will look fine (did with the character I was/am having trouble with). In my case, the cr2 has alot of added geometry, I'm assuming for added material groups. Could be the problem, but heck if I know how to fix it.

hmm Well I am useing pro pack so that could have been the problum for me. I will try the importing from geomitries folder to see if it fix's it. I alwasy assumed it was holes in the mesh from stuff i had read here. I guess it could be reversed normals or something like that that might be fixed in UVmapper pro or in the set up room .

Q: Why do some of my figures have holes in them when using the ProPack? A: This is due to the fact that some .cr2 files contain geometry information in them. And the ProPack wasn't able to handle them. CuriousLabs quickly created a fix for this. Go to: www.CuriousLabs.com to download the update to fix this.
