A tree in my front yard lit by a nearby street light. Looks much lighter than it was; taken about 5 hours after sunset. The moon lighted the sky and cloud, and I thought the two different light sources made an interesting color combination.

Very, very cool! Are those buds on that tree? God I have to move south again... Magick Michael

Actually, although green and sort of leaf shaped, it's the flower of the tree. Looks like the first leaves, but it's really the tree's bloom. The first leaves are about a week away (been watching it for 10 years now). :~)

"(been watching it for 10 years now)" - what, is this some sort of spiritual contemplation thing? 10 whole years? You need a hobby ;) btw, aren't those them little 'helicopter' things? when they fall they spin around and around? We've got one of them trees in our back garden. I hate it, covers the garden with leaves every autumn.... still can't remember what type of tree it is. (".)

It's a Maple tree, and yes, it's the helicopter kind. So you have 'em too, huh? Interesting. I planted it 10 years ago - just observations, but then again, watching the patterns of nature really is a spiritul contemplation sort of thing, IMHO.

Nice photo, the lighting is interesting. Trees are blooming all over the place here. Spring is here!
