What really buggyed me (LOL) was that the first picture the front right wheel was a little off the ground but other than that it is an awesome little buggy good job

lsstrout posted Tue, 25 March 2003 at 12:04 PM

Model a remote control for it, then we'll know there isn't supposed to be a driver. :) Very cool buggy! Lin

onnetz posted Tue, 25 March 2003 at 3:32 PM

thanks to all.. Cat, actually I already uploaded the buggy to the marketplace 4 days ago (My first one..:-).... If I put it in the freebies the bandwidth would kill my site... this way I might get a little income to pay for bandwidth so that I can have some freebies available... the price I'm asking is $12.00 usd. Mary, I purposely had the front tire positioned that way.. tried to give it a look of motion.. lsstrout, I did think about doing a remote control for it.. in some renders I have, to me it looks like an rc buggy.. here is one of them...

OPPS Sorry, It kinda looked like it was parked up on a cliff overlooking something but yet again very nice

onnetz posted Tue, 25 March 2003 at 5:47 PM

well the in motion part would be more realistic if someone was actually driving... lol very good observation on your part... :-)

Ok I'll see if there is any money lurking in a dark corner and see if I can buy it. It's a great looking model though onnetz and I am getting all sorts of visions for rendering it. Thanks for the info. Cheers Cat

Cool buggy. How fast does it go? :) I've got a somewhat different kind of buggy that I've been "building". It still needs the suspension, transmission, transfer case (4WD model), halfshafts, differentials, nitrous bottles, seat, and steering components. It's only a one seater, but if it's put together right it'll be a real beast. Dunno if anyone's interested, but if anybody wants to help "build" it I can email the .wings file.

That's a good looking buggy too Paul. I keep getting images of summer and sand dunes when I look at these buggies and perhaps a rip roaring beach party too. I wouldn't mind helping out with the building Paul but I don't have wings. I've got Rhino though if thats any good. Also I'd need a picture of what the finished model should look like. Anyway let me know what you think. 8) Cat
