I've looked here and at 3D cafe and numerous other object archives but cannot find a model of a laptop. I don't care if it's a Mac or PC laptop, or if it's dxf, obj, 3ds, 3dmf, etc. Can anyone help me out? Thanks, Matt

Quick solution:- use two of the cube props and map the texture.

ulysses, I have a perfect, multi-layer model of a laptop. Very small file size. let me know what format you would like it in, and I shall e-mail to you. P.s. I did not create it, I found it sometime ago on the web. P.p.s I shall be going offline now for a couple of hours, but I shall be back later this evening. HTH Siegbert

Console Cowboy (ccowboy@alkyra.icsi.net) made a laptop model, as a rigid prop, and I downloaded it from somewhere. I turned it into a Poser model (lid posable), including an easier way to get any desired image onto its screen, but I haven't uploaded it yet. I emailed Console Cowboy offering my version back to him, but he never answered. Please recommend procedure.

Matt, I have found the author of the laptop. I remembered that the model was free, so I took the liberty of sending you it. I do hope I have not infringed any copyright laws here. Therefore, here is the URL. Kaplan Consulting. http://www.us.net/kaplan/freemod.htm Yes, the model is free (some others there, too) Credit where credit is due. Siegbert ;)
