I'm so used to hitting the escape key to cancel renders in Bryce that I, unthinkingly, did the same while rendering in Poser 5. Not only did it work, the render stopped much faster than it does when you hit the cancel button in the pop up box. It may have just been a fluke but I hope not. Anyone else had this same experience?

The Escape key works in Pro Pack, also.

You actually got a render to cancel in P5 without it freezingup?
Very good to know. I'll have to try that. Thank you >^_^

It works sometimes.....but not always :) I'm use to the "escape" key as a Vue user, so it was natural to try it in P5. The first time it worked fine, but P5 is an odd duck.....there is no continuity it seems about what works....and what doesn't. I'm sort of getting use to it though :)

Good programming practise has the escape key & Cancel button both work - to do the same thing. Both basically mean "Argh! I don't wanna do that after all, stop, halt, cease!". I have a sneaky suspicion you were just lucky on timing :(

I've had no problems with cancelling renders in P5 since updating to SR 2.1. Maybe I'm lucky too? :) BYS

I made that same mistake. Very happy discovery. :)
