I'm trying to write an action to flip the top half of a Bryce sky around 4 times. I hav'nt tried to do this all inone action, and am about halfway there. My next action will hopefully: 1. Double the horizontal lenth, by anchoring to the right. 2. Select the newly added canvas, with the magic wand. 3. Select that Inverse. 4. Copy 5. Select Inverse again. 6. And Paste into that selection. This worked flipping the upper half into the lower, but for some reason the image data on the clipboard won't psste onto the existing selection! Why?

Is this an exercise in creating actions or are you looking for a panoramic view of Bryce skies? SkyPaint is a paint tool for creating and editing 3D, seamless, 360 panoramic images.

I just want to know why Photoshop isn't pasting into a selection. Interesting link though!

when you pate it makes a new layer ith the cut/coppied imaged from the layer you cut/coppied from just move the layer it made
