Hello, I am looking for a model of a WWII era Douglas C-47 Skytrain transport. I've been to most of the sites I know of that sell aircraft models(Silver Wings, Cache Force,etc.)and have come up empty. Does anyone know where I can find one, or failing that, someone to model one ? Thanks,.....sackrat.

I found a DC-3 model (the civvie version.) This was done by doing a quick run of search engine using "DC-3 .3ds .obj". Dunno if it has military style texture maps though.Your friendly neighborhood Wings3D nut.

3dcadbrowser is a rip off, there are models there that are from 3dcafe and they expect you to pay to download them.

I never did say it was the best deal, it was one of the first ones to show up in the search. But I guess if you're desparate, it would be a place to look - since it appears that they have just about anything.
