I am new to uploading my work here at Renderosity. I am having difficulty getting my thumbs to be good quality and small enough to use. Any tips would be great. I have a few programs like photopaint 10 etc. Thx, Doofus

You mean in the Vue d'Esprit free stuff or somewhere else?

I just need help on how to create thumbs that are 15k in size without losing too much picture quality or picture area, so that I can upload them here.

As you are in the Vue forum, I suppose it is a Vue image. just render your thumbnail directly in Vue at the size you want. Save it from Vue as a JPG at 70%. Before you close Vue, check the size of the image on your HD. So, if it is bigger then 15 k, just save it once more with a highter compression. Guitta

Great, Thats just the Info I needed. I appreciate the quick response and look forward to submitting some more of My work to the Vue Gallery and perhaps even the monthly challenges. Thx Doofus

I always use Photoshop to create my thumbs which are 200x200 pixels in size. The quality is always between 70-80%. The image shown has a size of 14KB. Phil
