I think she is beautiful. I love her textures the makeup options look wonderful. I really love the Purple Silver Dust makeup. She looks like a strong yet sexy woman, one who knows what she wants and how to get it. I say you are doing a wonderful job, keep it up :)

I think she looks HOT! Most of my girlfriends always end up being of Italian or Sicilian dencent even thou I'm from German decent, guess I'm just attracted to the look (ya, Hot-headed Sicilian + Hot-headed German = Hot...Romance) And eys, yes, I love a woman with deep, soulful eyes! Anyway, I usually prefer the natural look with my women, never understood why you women spend so much time covering up you natural beauty with all that war paint. But then again, when your all done; WOW! ;P Personally I like the Purple, but then again I guess it would depend on the rest of the attire..

I have some questions about her mouth tho - the area of lip-lines (the wrinkles of our lips) seem too pointed to the middle on her upper lip - like they star out from a central point rather than ride a little more vertically along the length of her lip. And the edges of the lip-lines have definite (but not sharp) edge inside of the mouth line. Damn, did I make any sense? L You can kind of see what I mean in the image where the areas are circled. But then again, that may be what your going for - in that case ignore me. G It just caught my eye is all - it may be something that isn't noticeable unless it's a close-up render of the face.

chanson: I was thinking when I was done with the face that it looked a WHOLE LOT like my mother (who happens to be nearly all Italian). But then I always thought my mom looked a whole lot like Cher...LOL. igohigh: Actually I'm half Italian and half German. I picked up ALL the German (blue eyes, blond hair, fair skin), but always kinda wished I had that dark, sultry look like my mom has. At least my skin has a touch of olive, even if it's fair, but it just makes me look jaundiced...LMAO! Thanks everyone for the nice comments, but is there anything you don't like about the tex? Booboos? Ugliness? Bad taste? LOL Laurie

Lucy_Fur: I see what you mean, although I used real lips to define the lip wrinkles. But I think they could do with some straightening and spreading on the bottom lip especially :o). And in looking at my own lips, the color and wrinkles DO actually stop before meeting the edge of the actual contour of the lip, especially in the corners like in the images above. But, as I'm sure I'll do because I always do, it'll get the once over again and be tweaked and retweaked :o). Thanks for the advice! :o)

I like both makeups a lot-- maybe a hint more for the gold and purple, but honestly anything with purple I like. I've been fascinated with the longnoses V3 can come up with too-- having been the long nosed person in a sea of cute turned up probosces since kindergarten. LOL If that's your lashtrans, kudos, it's lovely. Emily

You know the nose is the only part of the face that never stops growing LOL. Speaking as someone with more of a round buttonish nose, I've always admired the long slender noses of Mediterranean ladies. I'd trade mine in any day! :)
She reminds me of the women in Bougereau's paintings, with deep soulful eyes and classical beauty. I love the colors of the makeup as well, the sparkles are a great touch. I'm especially impressed by her skin tone, it has the appearance of soft powdered skin that's hard to achieve IMO.
About the lips, I think the intensity of the lines is a bit too uniform, making them look flatter. Maybe if you softened them at the edges it would create more of a rounded shape for each lip, if that makes any sense. This may sound crazy, but I've found that my old Anatomy books from art school are extremely helpful when working on 3D textures. Mainly because when you can see the structure of what's underneath the skin, its easier to determine how the skin would be applied to a face.
I'm just beginning to create textures myself, and I'll be thrilled if mine turn out half as lovely as this! :)

What crosses my mind - she looks comfortable womanish. She has everything what drove our ancestors south across the Alps - Emperors as well as tourists. Willy

She's breath-taking! A magnificent alternative to the 'no-nose' Vicki's that are beginning to annoy me no end...I've been waiting for some free Poser time to begin a classic beauty character of my own, and you've really inspired me. I can't wait to see her in an Erte-like fantasy render :)

I would perhaps make the mandible some bigger - it's not that it's receding (that's ok), but I think, if you compare it's size with the size of the upper part of the head, it looks a bit too small sized. Especially if you measure the distance from the tip of the chin to the end of mandible. I think that this is what makes the nose look bigger than it really is. Try a test: in the last picture, hide with the hand the lower portion of head, just below the nose. When you look at the upper part of head, nose and above, the nose looks perfectly OK. Now move the hand away and in front of the full picture again, you can see that the nose looks bigger because it's the mandible that is very small. :-)

I think that made a big difference on the lips, she's looking superb! I look forward to seeing the progress. :) -Molly
