The dashboards disappeared, it is made of two cones one posative and one negative, grouped together inside the body of the car,it was working fine until I duplicated the first car, then they disappeared, I even drug the group out so it would be ontop of the seat and it is still invisable. Any ideas here, I am baffeled.

are they still missing when rendered ? in wireframe, are they listed in the objects list? if you used a transparent material you will only see them in wire display roch222

They might have been booleaned out by another object. You could try to save a scene with only the dashboards and one with the rest of the car. Then you group the dashboard model savely in it's own group to avoid unwanted boolean effects and merge the two scenes again.

They werenot missing at all when I only had one car. they disappeared after I copy/pasted for the second car. The are in the wireframe, but they dont show up in the nano veiwer or whatever its called. As I look at the first picture I posted I can see the material used on the dash in the green car, but even if I pull the dash all the way out to the seat it still doesnt show up. I did this second real quick render to show you what I had before the duplication. Has this ever come up before where a portion of a model was altered during duplication, or am I just unlucky? LoL

I also checked to make sure they were still +/- and they were. could it be that the negetive sphere I used to cut out the cab of the car is having some strang effect with the cones? I took the dash set up out of the car and it rendered, but when I placed it back in and grouped the whole thing it didnt again?? If I just group the cars chasis and seats and then group the dash, wont that make maoving the cars into different possitions difficult or is there some way to make them move together even if they arent grouped?
