Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 29 7:57 am)
P5's setup room is almost identical to Pro Pack's. You'd be no better off. Keep practicing with the setup room. Learn how to move the bones and joints around, master the autogroup feature and the grouping tool, etc. I had a difficult time with the setup room at first, also, but eventually came to terms with it.

I am trying to create a character from a children's book I have written. It is a baby monkey. I am learning Poser 4 and was given a "Free .obj" created in 3DS Max. The .obj's arms are at it's sides and it is not jointed. I have tried to use the setup room and joint editor to no avail. The character literally breaks up (one leg works, while the other is connected to the hand). I need a character that is not too realistic.. I would say close to the Donkey Kong Junior premise, not a real looking monkey. Is Poser 4 the best program to give it joints and textures or would Poser 5 be better?
