Hey folks... P5 is driving me nutz!! I gave it a few months but there is still a whole butt load of wierd ass problems that i can make no sense of. Sure the firefly renders look a little better... but not that much better. I miss the good old P4 days so I was gonna reinstall it but then I realized a problem. I took advantage of one of the new features I did like and have many many sub-folders set up to better organize the library. Someone please tell me they know a trick to make this work in P4

If you have PBooost, I hear it makes Poser 4 more dreamy ;o). I don't have it - yet. Been thinking about it, even tho it won't work inside Poser on my machine, only as standalone. Still think it would save me time tho and help my poor bloated Poser folders ;o). Laurie

I have both of them on my hard drive, Poser 4 and 5, I bounce around like a super ball (remember them), anyways, between the both of them, I am glad I didn't consolidate the 2, works great to this way. Sharen PS: I also clean out my Poser directory for things I will not use, it helps alot. I don't even have the standard Poser 4 anymore, all that stuff is gone and have replaced it with all new stuff. Takes time but it was so well worth it.

In my pose libray, I just hit one letter and there it is...no more searching. Sharen

Thanks for replying... Laurie, where would I find that utility? Is it a product or a freebie? Sharen, I concidered using both too because there are some things that do work good in P5, but my runtime directory is at least 18gb and it seems crazy to have two. Like you were saying though, I could clean out alot of it. I'm not sure what you ment by your last comment... can you set up hotkeys for library folders?

You know it is funny, I never did set them up, one day I just tried it and it happened, I go to my library and say I want SS skins, I just hit S and they are there, I have to scroll a little but for the most part it works great, I don't know what I did for sure, but it works on my laptop too. Sharen

Thanks Laurie, I'll check it out. Sharen, that's cool... i never noticed that. I hate how long it takes to sroll the poses in p4. Thanks for the tip.
