My girlfriend has helped me to start writing poetry again, so now most of the ones I post are about her. (Or my mother, whom of which i despise.) I havent titled my recent works either. I know it sounds like I'm rambling, which I am. But we really need a writers gallery so people can rank and comment on our writing. One of the poems for my g/f: I'll give you my blanket when you shiver If you were dying, I'd give you my liver I'd never hurt you, not in any way If I did, then I'd be devastated I'd never get over my self And you would probably leave me for someone else I love you with all my heart, and thats what it's all about I'll always try to keep you happy, and never make you pout I need you like the flower needs the sun I need you to survive hun Lets live life large together Lets stay in love with each other for ever

I'm glad that you seem to have a good thing going with your girlfriend, but I was disapointed that I got no sense of what either you or your girlfriend was like from the poem. The bit about the liver, however, was delightfully unexpected. :)

I think I like the last few lines the best. Parts of the poem - the rhymes - come off a bit forced. I was expecting a satiric poem about love after the line about the liver, so I was confused when the poem stayed serious. I'm curious what your poems to your mother must be like. Cheers!
