PS- Please get it while you can - I'm not sure how long my host will allow me to keep it on there...

Got it :o) Thanks. Perhaps it would be an idea to bundle the tex and the readme in a zip? I still think it was a very clever idea to use the dress shirt as a jacket :o)

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA
Using Poser since 2002. Currently at Version 11.1 - Win 10.

Thanks! Re bundling: now that's why I shouldn't post things late at night! ;-) I definitely should have zipped 'em in the first place. I'll fix it in just a couple of minutes... -Mike

Update: the link is fixed. Everything is now available in one handy .sit file. -Mike

Err... I hate to sound ungratefull... but... could it possibly also be in some format that could be opened on a PC as well? (Yeah I know about stuffit but I HATE that proggie. Caused me ALL sorts of problems when I last tried it :o( ) Oh and if you want it, I can zip it for you, I just need the readme then coz I only saved the texture :o)

Sorry about that. Didn't know that PCs couldn't handle .sit. Please try it again - I've re-reuploaded it in .zip format. Please let me know if it works. -Mike

Works great now :o) Only there's a .DS_store file included that I have no idea of what IS L Probably some mac grit ;o) Not much of an issue though, and if it is something needed on a mac, then let it stay. If not, removing it couls make the file a TINY bit smaller. Thanks again for the great texture :o) Nice of you to make it free.

"mac grit"? tch-tch-tch! Mike, PCs can read .sit files just fine with Stuffit Expander (free). The files often come in a bit smaller when stuffed, too. The important thing is to avoid self-extracting executable files since they often contain virii or try to install themselves in odd places. Thanks, Carolly

Sure PC's can read sti files. With Stuffit. But IMO it's the worst archiver I've ever met. It was very possessive, claimed all sots of files as it's own and was almost impossible to uninstall. As I understand it, MAC's can extract zip files, and since almost everybody has Winzip (or some other zip product) I think it's a bad idea to archive PC files in something meant for a Mac. Personally I prefer Ace, as they compress far better than zip, but I do not distribute my files as .ace files since not everybody HAS WinAce, nor may want to install it. Keep it in zip, PLEASE :o)

Heck, leave it uncompressed and make everyone happy. Or not. Depending. :)

ok now that this thread has gone to zip/sit file - I just want to say - Good job utilizing the dress shirt (guess very Imaginative would be a better way of describing it) and I don't care how you want to give it to me when it is free. TY and Be Very Proud of your first "freebie" ;-)

Very cool - Thank you!

Glad you all seem to like the texture. Thanks also for the info about zip vs. sit. Ernyoka: I have no idea what that .DS file is, or how to get rid of it - it doesn't even show up on my Mac! I think "Mac grit" is as good a name as any for it... Also: thanks for not putting your stuff in .ace format - I've never even heard of it, don't know if a Mac can handle it, and I'd hate to miss out on all of your cool freebies! :-) Thanks again, everyone. -Mike

Forgot to mention: I'd love to see any renders of what you do with the texture. I'm still a relative newbie at this, and I'm looking for inspiration! :-) -Mike
