Having had the privaledge of creating the challenge I need to express how incredibly difficult it was to vote for just 3 images. I was looking forward to seeing a variety of twists on the theme and you all rocked!! My hope is that everyone was as "challenged" as I was and that we all got to try some things we might not mormally do. For those who struggled with metaballs... :) Hopefully you now have another tool in your arsenal. While it wasn't as controvesial as Drac's challenge last month it was fun to watch the pics being built. GREAT WORK and GOOD LUCK to all the entrants. -Claymor

You bet, Claymor. I hadn't used metaballs so much before this month's challenge, so for me it was really useful. S.

What I like about the challenges is that it gives some direction. I still feel like I'm floundering sometimes and having a goal is a real help. I'd already have my own "challenge" for next month (or when ever I can get it done). Even before you made that comment about mine in your vote post, I already knew that, for me, there was going to be an "After the Quest." I know what's going to happen to little Mousey. I wonder if anyone else feels that way about their picture? There are some I'd really like to know what happens next in them.

Yes, ee, this happens a lot with me. I even did three pictures with the same setting, because it seemed to me that the first one wasn't finished.

This was a very good challenge. It made me work with Metaballs and try different techniques with textures. I had fun with this one.

i just hope that the winner makes the next challenge "design a torture chamber for brycetech"........ or possibly make the most photo-realistic tar-and-feather covered person w/o imports.
