If you are using Poser 4 you need the 4.03 update from Curious Labs (link in "Sponsors" block top right of this page).

The Poser 4.03 update has been around a couple years now. I would think anyone who recently got Poser would already have the "4.03" update incorporated into the "boxed" product?!

You'd think everyone would be updated, but it still comes up once a month or so. It is hard not to wonder though....

click the link and download this " Poser 4.0.3 Updater English - Windows " it will update your poser to the current build and fix the "C exeption" error you are getting .

Um, I sent for new disks of Poser 4 on my registration last year, and they weren't upgraded to 4.0.3. Emily

I've received information from many people that indicated their "new" copies of Poser 4 were already updated. In fact, many people have reported that their new copies of Poser 5 were already updated. Maybe people should check their exact version number before installing updates or service packs?!

NO you are not a fool. You had some questions and hopefully got your answers. If not, ask again.
