No, it doesn't cover the lower-front face.
Ghostofmacbeth posted Wed, 09 April 2003 at 1:37 PM
I don't have it yet but I don't think so from what I have seen. Just not enough coverage on the lower half and no chin coverage (But that can be done with textures)

Ohhhhh ... when you get it done, let us know. I LOVE Farscape, it's my very favorite on SciFi. :-)

Traveler has some free superset morphs for mike and vicki over at RuntimeDNA in the what's new section of the freestuff that you may be able to use in conjunction with the mask to get the look you are looking for.MachineClaw posted Wed, 09 April 2003 at 2:06 PM
I grab'd those superset packs, though I really didn't have a clue what they were all about.

Ya know....you might be able to do something with Anton's Ninja Suit at DAZ. It should work for this, if you make a little thing across the nose.
cruzan posted Wed, 09 April 2003 at 6:22 PM
while over at RDNA - you should get travelers latex materials under P5 freebies. Me love Farscape 2 (so sorry to see it end) so will be looking forward to seeing your work! Good Luck ;-)

That mask could easily be accomplished in Poser 5 with a good displacement map.

okay, I'll play with the ninja suit and see if I can come up with a transperency that will work, and a texture for it. That seems the easyest without trying to remodel a full head and suit for Scorpious.

The ninja Suit doesn't have a piece between the eyes and nose. But both it and the mask have alot of morphs you could likely combine them. The Assasins Texture Pack has a transmap cut out the mask could pop into. The reason this might work best for you is the unusual shap of the Farscape Character's face. FOrgive this sloppy transmap. I'm sure you good really do it justice. Somewhat close though. You could draw the rest on the face.-Anton, creator of

Jaw drops open OKAY, back to the store then. hahahaha, and I JUST passed that pack up too. Thanks Anton, thats extremely close, and it works for Grim which I think will be closer to Scorpy. Thanks for the pic.
PheonixRising posted Thu, 10 April 2003 at 12:41 AM
It is actually Michael. I put the Grim texture on Mike with a morphed face. I just added some red arounf the eyes on a copy of the map. And I made the lip material color darker. Hope it works out without too much hassle. Any questions let me know.

Since you're here, are there any plans to release a mask for the lower face - one that covers the nose, cheeks, and jaw, or better yet a full face mask a la Spiderman? Thanks!
MachineClaw posted Thu, 10 April 2003 at 11:56 AM
I came close last night to acheiving what Anton posted. I used the assins pack for ninja suit and the V3 morphing mask. problem is for my personal use it's not a problem, but distributing would require people to use 2 different products and not everybody has those. I agree a full head mask would really work and be more versitle. I'm gunna try and make one that conforms to Mike 2, though it's gunna take me a while since I'm still learning modeling and I don't know anything about adding morphs to a clothing item. I found a site that is totally devoted to Scorpious Farscape character and has tons of Scorpy pics so now I have references for his skin face texture and his suit. Anybody have more sugjestions let me have um, I'd love it.

While you're at it, could you also include the bunny suit from the final ep? Ow stop hitting me...
PheonixRising posted Thu, 10 April 2003 at 2:32 PM
Rob, You could do a freebie using: 1)texture/tran for the suit 2)texture/tran & Pose for the mask 3)Squished morph or pose for Mike They would have to parent the mask though. Crescent. Well I am plaiing a lower mask that can be used for a beard and such. The whole SPiderman type hood is just sooooooooo much work making all those morphs perfect. But I am always looking to add to my list. So yes I am making one but it will not cover the mouth. Hope that helps, Anton

the bunny suit! hahahaha!!! I actually thought about that when Anton posted his picture. I had to stop the VCR when I saw that cause I was laughing SO hard. Anton, hmmmmm seems doable. Workin on Scorpy face texture now that I have good references.
Crescent posted Thu, 10 April 2003 at 3:16 PM
Well, I can certainly understand the full mask being a lot of work so it's on my "don't get my hopes up list," but I could really use a lower face mask that covered the lower face and entire mouth, like a sleek, superheroey surgical mask. Cheers!
