yeah it was the cheap and easy way LOL yould you like it to be engraved?

If I can't do much better than what you see here, I was thinking about giving it some cuts and scratches to make it look more worn and used. I am experimenting with this right now but haven't found a technique that looks real yet. Not gonna give up, though. Cheers

You might try to find a good image to use as a reflection map. Apply it over the armor, distort the image to match the shape, then apply it very transparently.

Bonestructure's suggestion of the reflection map might really help, especially if you used in context with the Displace filter. This link does a great job of explaining it, better than I could. http://www.gurusnetwork.com/tutorials/photoshop/displace6.html Adding cuts and scratches would help alot to I bet. Hope this helps.
