this is the problem im having with bryce and hopefully its not permament and someone can help me out. i had a friend over last week and he started fiddling around with bryce. me wanting not to deny someone their bryce-fix i let him go wild on my pc. the result is the document size is now permemantly set at 540405. the defult button goes to that size automatically. is there anyway to change it back to my original 640480 and so when bryce fires up thats the size i get. manually changing it has become quite a pain.

Set everything the way you want it (even sun, atmosphere, colors, background paper, etc) then go to File/Save as and in the B5 folder on your drive save "default.br5" Now everytime you start Bryce it will load this default file. Unfortunately selecting "new document" will get you the factory default so to get back to your default you'd have to reload by using File/Open.

I wish I'd known that earlier. I have to resize my page and change the view to camera every time I start a new project. The Bryster

hehe, i asked about that a month ago or so, i'd seen it somewhere on the net and needed a reminder... when you make a new document, the only factory setting that it restores is the ground plane.

Selecting "new document" won't get you back to factory default if you have selected "launch at previous state" in the Edit-->Preferences menu. Discovered that the other week because now I'm working with a 1100x800 canvas and kept getting the little one even after I saved the default.br5 file as you said. Stefano

Thanks for the cool tip Aldaron. Didn't realize this was possible. Too lazy to check it out I guess.... lol
