Oh my goodness .. thank you for responding. It is true, there are lots of different kinds. There are plastic ones, wood ones, ones shaped like Dizzie's picture and others with little knobs on the end that i can remember makeing into dolls as a kid. The one i have been searching for is like the ones in Dizzie's picture. It would need to open and close .. and if it is possible, and not too much to ask .. could the circle where normally the clothes line would go, be a bit close to the end of the clothes pin? kind of like regular pinch clothes pins. i hope i am not being too picky ... if the circle is not close to the end .. then it will not work well for what i had in mind. Thank you, ockham for the files .. i will try them right away. troubleTO

Tell me if the shape is not right; I can reshape it easily enough.

Hello again ... Thank you all very much for the help .. such wonderful generosity. ockham ... the model works great. And the circle is in just the right place. Thank you very much. i really like the 'low tech' alternative, cooler .. it is exactly the same type of clothes pin i made dolls with as a kid. troubleTO
