Probably been asked before, but I did a search and found nothing

I have 2 problems with that image, the first one are the shadows, they are too blocky. I changed the map size to 1024 (I cant up it more) but the result is the same.
I think the problem is that i use raytracing instead of depth map shadows. Am I right? Whats the difference between both (the manual doesnt cover that point very good)?

The other problem is the elbow protuberance (in the circle), I use limits so thats not the problem. How can i get rid of that or is a problem with the body (default p5 model)?

Oh, and finally, I changed the default face and i dont know why is it darker now (didnt touch those dialers), Is it possible to change the skin tone (body or face) withouth changing the texture?

Thanks for reading this

  1. Shadows... Use "Depth Map" with 3-5 blur radius... 2. Elbow... This is probably because of the mesh... to few polys will make that sort of artifacts in some angles. 3. Skin tone... Yes, you can change the skin-tone by altering the "Diffuse Color", I think it's "additive". .... my guesses!... :-)
