When I rendered this image the eyelashes were gone. Nothing. I used the same settings as I have used in the past. I think. (By the way in the past for me is about 2 weeks ago) I use a Trans Map that I got from the free stuff area. I set Transparency to 1.0 and Transparency Edge to 0.0 like I did for the 3 other characters I have made. What else am I overlooking Thanks.

Can you show me your material room settings? Make sure you have the image_map node (the transparency map) plugged into the transparency channel of the eyelash material.

here it is.

Aside from Transparency_Falloff (which should be 0.0), those settings look correct. Unless the transmap itself is messed up, the only other thing I can think that could cause this effect would be using the Poser 4 renderer with "Ignore Shader Trees" enabled in Render Options.

I usually use the Poser 4 renderer with "ignore Shader Trees" enabled and I never had the problem with my other characters.

If I don't enable ignore shader tree the render is all black.

I'm out of ideas, then. Sorry. Is your copy of Poser 5 patched to the latest version (Service Release 2.1)?

No it isn't. Thank you very much for taking the time to try and help.

I installed the SR2 pack as you suggested and everything seems to be working now. Thanks James
