Recently purchased QuickConform with the understanding that it would save me a lot of time in getting conforming clothing built. Duh!! Stupid me. All I've gotten so far is greif and lots of wasted time as I've managed to create nothing with it. Here's the problem. Built and UV mapped my obj file. Loaded it up in QuickConform. Followed the steps, using an appropriate piece of clothing as a master for JPs. Load up Poser and try it out,... crap!! Either it creates nothing, but Poser thinks its loaded a "Figure 2" (even though its not there),... or it pulls in two pieces of what I was trying to build, and it looks like it was just imported (i.e. not even remotely scaled)! What the ,..?? Now here's the real pain,... the clothing figures were built directly off the Poser figure,... using Vicky 2 with parts exported and manipulated in Anim8tor,... and all the body part names are straight with the internal name of the part they're supposed to conform to. So what's the trick that isn't in the Help file or tutorials??? What do I have to do to get QuickConfrom to pay attention to the OBJ file (which is already the right scale because its built off the scaled figure)?? Does it have to be loaded into Poser first and turned into a prop? Do I have to open it up in the Setup room and save the cr2, then use the OBJ file that creates? What!!!??? I even tried importing the OBJ, fitting it (which seems redundant to me) to Vicky, loading it into the Setup room, saving the figure as a cr2 with no bones, and then pulling the OBJ created by Poser to use in QuickConfrom,... still NO JOY!! I've run out of options, and I've certainly run out of time to waste,... somebody fill me in on the inside joke,... what's the trick!!??
