Doing a Render for a birthday card/poster that simulates the cheesecake art of the fifties. I have been working on the render for a week and am running out of time. I am trying to use DAZ Bear and squashing the character and spreading the legs out but it messes up the mesh and screws up the map to the point the tex becomes unrecognizeable. Post work is taking FOREVER....which I no longer have time for! Has anyone here seen anything coming close to a bear skin rug out there I can drop into Poser and get a decent render upon which to more easily do post work on?

Ditto on this one.

All I can suggest is the old flat oblong with a transparency-- maybe cobbled together from the bear texture. Seems to me there was a tiger rug awhile back in somebocies freebies that could be converted to this. Emily

I think I did see one once...but I can't remember where. can you use the bear head and a flat with transparency as queri suggested? Diane

Hey! Good Idea. I will try it. Now, if only they created the map so I can "EASILY" do this!? Thanks all! And if you can think of where you saw the Tiger Skin Rug sure would like to know that too!

How about something like this? Far from finished, it needs texture and transmap and more, but right now it's 2am and I gotta quit it for now :o)

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA

The rug part, without the head is from Sams3d log cabin furniture/accessories. The head is from the Daz bear.Texture from wildlife pack one also from daz. Ok, it's not that great, but I think at the right camera angle and lights it might just work. (: Of course, having the one from Ernyoka1 would be much nicer to have...Hint,Hint, (: Genny

If you have Poser 5, there was an animation of a fur rug falling on the ball and then sliding off. All you would need to do is cut out the shape of the critter from the square prop (or whatever was used to make the rug) and add that head. I think Wenke or someone also did a bear.
