Basically anything goes tho draping Don's head has some scary results. Can u be more specific in what u are trying to do?

i was just trying to clothify a conforming dress. I go through everything in the room, but when i go to see what it looks like after i press calculate it doesnt seem to look like cloth....

You have to bring the conforming dress in as an obj before you can clothify it. What people do, often is export it as an obj and then import it back in and then it can be clothified. I don't know why the extra step is necessary but that's how it works for me. You'll find it doesn't conform anymore as a obj file so you have to the cloth room to get it to drape and pose over the figure.MindVision-GDS posted Sun, 20 April 2003 at 5:17 PM
that is correct...dynamic clothing unlike comforming clothing does not work with named bodyparts to follow the actor...it is a single prop wich vertices follow that of the actor in animation.

Here's a question I've been pondering, whilst trying to talk myself out of dropping more cash on 3d software (do I spend it on poser 5.....xfrog.....or the house- not a 3d house...lol!) For stills, is the clothification thing a huge step above conforming clothes? How long does it take to transform a stiff dress shirt over mike2? thanks, Eric
