The good news is that Konan, the talented creator of the Ultimate Dragon model, has kindly provided me a couple of links to postings of my recent "Faerie And Her Wand" and "Dragon Fire" animations. The bad news is that they are in Bink format, which currently only works on PC's (with a Mac version having been promised for a while now). For those not familiar with Bink, it is an excellent compression program, but requires the Bink player for viewing unless the file includes a Bink .exe command, which both of the aforementioned animations do. (".exe" files scare some people, but the Binked player executeable files are just that and nothing more.) The Dragon Fire animation is only 629 kb in size, and shows Konan's Ultimate Dragon in action, as well as demonstrates what the special effects program "Illusion" can do in easily generating particle effects, such as smoke and fire, that can be applied to Poser (and Bryce) animations. The "Faerie" animation, unfortunately, is a little over 11 MB is size and, therefore, not for the impatient to download. It is about a three-minute animation that tells a somewhat cheezy little story while serving as my first effort at Poser animation. The linked files are at: www.ev.ca/konan/DragonFire.exe, and www.ev.ca/konan/Faerie.exe. These files will remain up for only a couple of weeks.
