Did you stop the newsletter delivery delivery, or is it spontaneously combusting before hitting your mailbox? Oh, the cottage and textures look so wonderful! I'd love to have a house like that.

Okay, did anyone actually get the newsletter? I didn't, unless it was disguised as an ad for breast enhancement or selling time shares.

I haven't gotten it either. I signed up for it, bnut it stopped coming in...unless, as you said, it got accidentally hidden amidst the spam.

I don't receive it unless I let them know I haven't gotten one, it seems...somethin' powerfully wrong in that department, methinks. They should make the freebies available again for the folks who missed out on them even though they were signed up for the newsletter...it seems only fair.

just checked my profile..everything is checked as it should be to receive the newsletter... Its like the ebot...it hasn't been working either

I did not get the "newsletter" either? I got the house from "Ironhart" because I am a frequent purchaser of his products. Thank you "Ironhart" (: What's going on.........did "renderosity" change servers or something? Genny

I haven't gotten any in a while:( Copies of the flier, that is). I Wonder what's going on????

I brought this up in the Mod area to ask someone to look into this. For anyone who is having problems not getting the flier, do you normally get the e-bot notifications? (Yes, it's flakey at the moment, but normally do you get them?) One possibility is that the Marketplace fliers may be getting caught up in anti-spam filters. Thanks! Cres

I got my 'Rosity newsletter back on the 16th with the Ironhart freebie. Guess this week is still not out yet.

Guess I'm in the minority....I got it last week. Not yet this week though. For what it's worth, it doesn't carry the banner at the top like it use to, so you may have overlooked it?? I always have to check my spam catcher to make sure it's not grabbing the good stuff and sending me the viagra ads! :) Ain't technology grand!?

The ebots were working up til the 22nd..last time I got one..and they were spotty for a day or so prior to that... another strange deal...I have been getting the newsletter, not the last one, at another email address that is not even signed up here, nor was it ever..my yahoo email...

I get the ebots, but not all the time (seems like every 3rd or so reply to something I post gets an ebot.) I just double-checked that I'm signed up for the newsletter in my profile... I am, but I haven't been receiving it regularly lately. (Sometimes I get it, sometimes I don't.) I'm not using any spam filters, so that's not it. :( Dang. I have all of Ironhart's cottages. I would have loved to get that neat little house.

Got newsletter up until this week. It didn't make an in my mailbox this week. However, I did get that marketplace "coupon" today. Not quite the same thing :P

I got my letter this week - and one ebot for this thread (so far). Sometimes I get multiple ebots for a thread, sometimes non - can't figure out why tho.

I (normally) get the ebots, but I haven't received the flier since the 2nd of April.

I normally get the ebots, except starting last night they stopped coming. I don't think I've seen the flyer in a few weeks though.

I haven't received the newsletter for a while now. It's checked in my profile that I should, and yes I receive bots and everything else. Just no newsletter... sniffle

I as others get Ebots, it varies if I get them consistantly for a thread I'm following, or spuraticly. I have not gotten the newsletter since the server update and we had to update our profiles, after that, no newsletters. I have asked a few times and gotten them, but it's a pain, and I actually feel bad for the person that has to send them out manually, so I gave up on them. I DO miss the newsletter though, there was decent stuff in there other than just the freebie, so I would like to get it again, if someone is looking into this.

Sorry on that, ironhart! I haven't a clue why it's only getting to some people. I have asked the admins to look into it. Think of it this way, you're getting a lot of good publicity in this thread. If anyone wants last week's newletter, just IM me. I still have it in my mailbox. I suspect that this week's newsletter is just coming off the press - so to speak. I haven't had any problems so far getting the newsletter (knock on wood!) and I know that the admins had to take a plunger to the e-mail server today. They said that the newsletter would start getting sent out after that. Cheers!

linwhite did a great render of both your wonderful products Tuesday and ironhart and thanks for sharing it with thoughs of us who missed out on them ( Still waiting for my copy of the weekly, err monthly, err semi annual renderosity newsletter ) Drat i always hate missing the good stuff.

After doing the above posting, I decided that if the Ebots were not working maybe I should contact those that posted here as to where the file could be downloaded. So, that is why many of you got an IM with the link to the cottage. As for the flyer screw up I don't know what to say. None of you are as disapointed as I am about it. This was a very expensive promotion that evidently did not work. Hopefully, the situation is fixed for those who read this thread. As for Renderosity. I am trying to dwell on the good things they have done for me in the past that did work. I am also looking forward to getting Tuesdays Texture for the cottage myself. As many of you might have guessed by this time. I am a real fan of Tuesdays. So, get the cottage, get the textures and post a pic. About the best advertisement I can get is when someone posts a picture in the galleries. Billy

Right I too am one of those who haven't got the flyer for the past month. Actually, the last flyer I got was the one where I sponsored the Microwave. March 19th I think. I usually gett he e-bots and I do NOT have any spam filters that I know of. And I DO get spam but I have set up a rule so that everything from "@renderosity.com" ends up in their own little folder :o) so I haven't missed it by accident.

Well whaddayaknow.. Just checked my inbox (at work right now so it is by Webmail) and there was the flyer for march 23 :o) AND e-bots too. Looks like things are returning to normal fingers crossed

Errr double drat , hopefully i will get mine tomorrow. I know 100 % its is not my filters , because it goes to a unfiltered email address. I rechecked my personal setting and its the same as it ever was asking for the newsletter. ironhart i would be happy to render some images of yours and tuesday's ( AKA digital tourist ) work. It wont be as nice as linwhite but i can try . :)

On a sort of related note.... I'm using a Yahoo mail account. When "anyone" reports a sending address as spam it starts getting sent to my bulk mail folder. This has happened to my rosity and runDNA newsletters. If you have Yahoo Mail. Be sure to set up your Mail Options to where it doesn't automatically trash your spam folder. Read the headers in your bulk mail folder. If you get a rosity flier, open it, and click on the link on the bottom of the message "This is not SPAM". The next letter should end up in your inbox. Good Luck!

FYI , one of the key words on a spam filter is the word free. If a newsletter has that word in it then its going to be sent to the spam folder or deleted.

I was having trouble receiving the Newsletter. You have to reset that part in your profile for some reason. In your profile, if you just unclick the "Recieve" box, close, then open and click it, it will work...(maybe....LOL) At least, it worked for me.

I had the same problem, but a few days ago I send a mail to renderosity. I got a reply that there is a new mail server being installed to take care of people not getting the newsletter. And I also got all the old newsletters I missed out on. :) Hopefully this will be solved soon. Rynn.

I get ebot responces regularly, but the flyer is somewhat hit or miss. I did get the weeks flyer featuring the new house (thanks ironheart) but not the one from tuesday :( I just figured it would come out later, until now. eric

I got the flyer. I do the filtering manually even if it is a hassle - don't want to miss good stuff :o) :] Fish

Fortunately, my spam filter ( a free service of my ISP) lets me add things to an approved list. So I was pretty sure the newsletter was not in the spam catcher. Thanks for the texture Tuesday! I will put it to good use :) Ironhart cottages have been a favorite of mine for a long time. Before I got Poser I had to get some special assistance from Ironhart, Lynn White and Sharen Custer to make them work for a play project I was working on. I've said it before and I'll say it again.....there are some really great people here :)
