Hello, Can anybody point me in the direction of tutorials or help with dial or value settings for these? Expected ranges, what an effect/setting should look like, etc. I was just over at Furious Labs and saw some cool examples. I am finding that P5 is running so slowly that I am frustrated with the amount of experimentation (or rather the time) it takes to determine how a feature works... this includes hair as well. Thanks, caravaggio

Nerd3D has a very good volumetrics tutorial on his site. Depth of Field is something I too would like a tut about :o)

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA
Using Poser since 2002. Currently at Version 11.1 - Win 10.

P5 has DoF settings on the Render Options and they work adequately, if you want to avoid faking it with postwork. There is an excellent discussion elsewhere (the link above) that resolves into pretty detailed instructions, if not a tutorial. MTreewarden posted Fri, 25 April 2003 at 7:23 AM
Thanks everyone! It looks like I'll be staying out of trouble for a while now! My weekend testing is all hashed out and it will now take much less time to get the results I'm looking for! regards caravaggio
