Started yesterday and still going now. Lost power about 5:30am MST this morning, got it back at 7:30pm. I braved the outdoors to get a couple of picks for you to see. To think, I was pondering whether to till the garden today. My lylics might not survive this one. Almost lost everything on my computer. Hour later I managed to get it up, need more ram and house cleaning. So on that subject, I'll be getting more ram this week. Do I need to toast everything on my computer or can I just snape the ram in? Don't know much about this stuff. Hope your having a nicer weekend. Tashar 59

yack! and I complain when it rains here in florida .... heheh. Sorry, couldn't resist =)

WOW that sucks. We finally lost most of our snow, 'course it's still light outside (10:30pm). Na you don't need to wipe it, just turn it off and add the ram. Make sure you get the tabs lined up right, they only go in correctly one way. I have seen it put in backwards, don't ask me how she did it, I'm thinking waaaay too much force.

Got 5" here in Parker, Colorado (nowhere near the mountains) on Mon-Tues. Luckily, the budding flora survived. Still waiting for spring to arrive and decide to stay put! :0) BYS

Are you in Alberta? I hear they really got it yesterday..saw a pic on my home page of a real awful blizzard. Hard to believe...sun is shining here and it is now at last finally Spring!! Well at least you know that in a few days, spring will return to you once again - hopefully. Hang in there. And regarding your computer, you just have to install the extra memory so you won't lose anything while you do it. :)

Damn, where do you live? We've had spring here in Texas for about 6 weeks! Just lovely weather here but August can be a bit oppresive. Anyway, hope the snow lets up soon!

Thank-you all for the computer info. I'm in southern Alberta, 30 to 40 cm. in 24 hours, worst was the wind, 5' drifts. It's melting almost as fast. Guess the skiers will be happy, those mountains look very white. The bad news is my computer's not working right. Won't format disks to save on. I'll try some uninstalling and reinstalling to see if that works. I figure if I delete Poser, that might free up enough resources to get things back on line. I do have all that saved on disks, never realize how much poser stuff you have till you start counting disks. Tashar 59

Overcast and getting colder. They say we may get that snow if there's any left. It's no good sniffing that stuff... You can blow it though. Yikes... Q

bikermouse first thing I tried. I just blew the belt on the snowblower, this is one big machine, snow is so heavy and icy. Green grass in places and big drifts in others, naturally, around the cars. I had a renovation I was to start today, like thats going to happen in the next day or so. I live in the country, no telling when a grater might plow the main road. If I can get out of my driveway I should be O.K. pakled, throw one on the barbie for me. Very Isolated Tashar 59
